About Me

Branded Youth
Management / Records / Production
Benefiting from over 5 years’ experience with one of the UK’s number one pop acts, Atomic Kitten, Branded Youth provides its artists with a wealth of knowledge in conceptualising, developing and breaking top quality music, by giving them the highest quality of service.
With an A&R policy that is non-specific to genre, the company’s primary focus is to export a wealth of home-grown talent and to also introduce top-quality music from around the world to a UK audience.
An in-house professional recording studio and a world-class producer/mixer/engineer allow for all aspects of the company to be self-contained and, as such, run fluidly. Giving reduced recording costs and quicker turnaround on all products.
Already signed to the label are:
The Drellas are formed from the ashes of multi-million selling band Space and are fronted by vocalist and primary songwriter, Tommy Scott. Sounding like the Buzzcocks brawling with the B-52’s, in their early days, the band have upbeat, hook-laden, punky pop tracks. Lyrically similar to Space, the songs give the listener an insight into Tommy’s quirky view on everyday life.
Traditional Cuban solo artist Luis-Enrique Carmenate was the protégé of legendary Cuban singer, Isolina Carrillo and has performed with some of Cuba’s most famous performers, including Ruben Gonzalez, Pio Leva, Omara Portuondo, Los Van Van, Afro Cuban All Stars & various members of Buena Vista Social Club. His authentic Latin rhythms have compelled audiences worldwide to feel the heat of Latin America and even the most tranquil person is found dancing in the aisles!
After selling their original name to the Rage Against the Machine / Soundgarden super-group, Audioslave, The Most Terrifying Thing went straight into writing and recording their debut album, ‘Victoriana’. Garnering rave reviews from critics and fans alike (including 4/5 K’s in Kerrang and 7/10 in Metal Hammer), at the same time as tearing up the live scene and converting their audiences into lifelong fans!
Also in development are Wasted Angels who, after only being together for a few months, already are renowned for their electric live performances. Musically they are like the bastard lovechild of The Sweet and Guns 'n' Roses and they are currently working on tracks for their debut release. At an average age of 20, the band are an exciting prospect to keep your eye on.
Currently in talks with various established American acts and other international artists to license catalogue and original material, all aspects of the company are flourishing at an exceptional pace.
Expect to see the name Branded Youth a lot more in the near future…
