About Me

The Absolute Begginers are a four peice band from South Elmsall/Upton (it's not rough, i swear), and are the latter four survivors of an expired pop/punk quintet, with the loss of a member (so 5-1=4, ) out to write unique, original music for your entertainment Ladies and Gentlemen =D. As each individual has their own influences, and preffered style of music there is an ocasional clashing of opinion between members, but where would the fun be without it? Anyway... We hope to have a decent demo out and performing by again by mid 08 if someone gets their arse into gear...).

Influences: Everything from rock to punk to rap to experimental, however, our music as a band has been majorly influenced by bands such as: Razorlight, Jet, The Libertines, Ocean Colour Scene, No-FX, The Who,Little Man Tate, The Killers, The Subways, Nine Balck Alps, The Lables, The Jam,Kassabien, Ric Neale , The Hives, Dirty Pretty Things, Matt Bagley from The Humour, The Strokes, Blur, Incubus, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, BonJovi dare i say even Nirvana and loads more.
