I'm into intimate moments, personal freedom, and quantum physics. I am fond of theology, ballet, sword fighting, stunt work, and theatrics. I drink lots of bottled water, dance all the time, and eat in bed. I used to stay up until sunrise all the time, but not as often now that I work early in the morning. I delight in being outside, especially near water and trees. I paint, and write poems, but am lately more into song writing. I take a certain pleasure in my dog, being at el charro, and mixed cds. When the opportunity arrises I play paintball, floor hockey, disc golf, and ultimate frisbee. Pugs are adorable. So is my best friend, Phillip. I travel and move around a lot. My favorite place to eat out is Warner's German Restaraunt, which sadly does not exist anymore. Manners, religion, and correct grammar are important. I relish big cities and the things that go with them - skyscrapers, museums, zoos, subways, large crowds, the theater, and beggers. I interpret dreams. I luxuriate in buying books and eating expensive desserts. I take to opera music and the study of level four viruses. I read filmographies, ask lots of questions, and muse philosophically on a frequent basis. I enjoy prophesies, visions, ihop-kc, junk food, and carry-on luggage. I drink milk straight from the carton and collect lisence plates. I re-name people and assign animals to them. I savor musicals, obscure theories, ancient writings, and cliff diving. I cherish my privacy but have a real fancy for social situations, which leads me to throw and attend parties at times, though perhaps not as often as I once did. I believe dragons once really existed. To me, Weird Al Yancovich is genuinely humorous. One of my favorite artists is Alan Lee. ThinkGeek products are exciting. French fries, no makeup, the Bible, zobmondo, prayer, chess, and expensive undergarmets are good any day of the week. Many consider me to have obsessive compulsive disorder, but I'm not so sure that I agree. If I ran this country, the drug laws would be different. I used to live in a hotel.
And I would like to meet... J.R.R. Tolkien, Martin Luther King Jr., Vlad the Impailer, Johnny Depp, my parents when they were young, someone who will teach me what I want to know, you, and C.S. Lewis."I'll paint you mornings of gold. I'll spin you Valentine evenings. Though we're strangers 'til now." -As The World Falls DownI would also like to meet old friends, people who admit to picking their noses, Frodo Baggins, Charles Dickens, Peter Jackson, my future children, Magwitch, Albert Eienstein, the staff of Covenant House, William Wallace, Rush Limbaugh, Romeo Montague, and Robin Hood.
I can but don't often play the saxaphone, read music, and tinker with the piano, but there's a shiny black epiphone guitar waiting for me on my bed right now. I enjoy most genres. I have around 300 cds.
I tend to like things directed by Jim Henson and John Hughes. And pretty much any Tolkien-based film. Usually, don't ruin a good book by turning it into a movie. For rainy Monday afternoons: Alice in Wonderland, Laybrinth, The Princess Bride, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Save the Last Dance. On my shelf you will also find Closer, Fight Club, Corpse Bride, The Dark Crystal, Center Stage, Braveheart, The Flight of Dragons, and that sort of thing.
I absolutely HATE tv, and refuse to watch it. Ever.
I am a book feind. I like to read and study the Bible. I collect the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Charles Dickens, and William Shakespere. And volumes of fairy tales. My mum is a terrific author, buy her books. Other than that...The Inheritence Trilogy, The BFG, Zobmondo, Peace Like A River, The Secret Garden, Fight Club, Dracula, How to Woo and Win Women by Being an Obnoxious Jerk,The Flight of Dragons, The Pigman, Pilgrim's Progress, The God Gene, stuff by Michael Crichton and David Levithan, The Hot Zone, Looking For Alaska, and Job. Books where the characters actually have depth and development.
Jesus, my family including Phillip, Brendan the Voyager, C.S. Lewis, and Brandon Barranco. I also admire David Wilkerson, Landon Huie, Praying Hyde, Reinhardt Bonke, John and Elsie Benet, Pastor Jason Spears - for doing his job right, Leonard Ravenhill, Peter Jarhling, and the people who founded and work for Covanent House.
