Tiger

beyond pop culture junkie, what can i say? i like it wild. i spend a lot of time trying to stay alive, and work internationally to save the entire species Panthera tigris. we're an endangered species, you know, and there are only about 5,000 of us left in the wild.
for fun and education, i hang out with a lot of musicians, tiger scientists, and media types to make Rock & Roar projects on the internet.
since 1993, among this tiger's wildest tales . . . a first fateful meeting with Bob Geldof, touring east and west coasts with Tina Turner and crew, a much welcomed first phone call from our Canadian hero and Rock & Roar's founding collaborator Bruce Cockburn, stepping a silent paw onstage with The Who, standing tall in steel-toed boots with the much missed Joe Strummer, landing on set for a couple of music videos and behind the lens on the North American tours with our long-time friends INXS, the always delightful Dave Wakeling taking us global at the 2000 RealNetworks live broadcast, directing the powerful Chrissie Hynde in our multi-camera shoot, our sweltering sixty second photo shoot backstage with Deborah Harry, and faxing our many friends around the world to talk tigers over the years and spread the word.
