My name is Iesha Bayona. I live in the East Foothills area of San Jose.On a personal note I have been very blessed with wonderful people, my daughter Ayana, my boyfriend Taj, my "Grammy" my Mom, my pets (my other children) and all of my extended friends and my family.I grew up in San Jose I attended Hester Elementary, Hoover Middle, Joseph George Middle, James Lick, The Foundry, and Lincoln High School.I have been exposed to some pretty extraordinary things, such as the "500 Mile Run" a Native American Marathon Spiritual Run that was started in 1978 by Dennis Banks, a key advocate for AIM the American Indian Movement.I have been an active advocate for education. As a teen I was "falling through the cracks" so to speak. So I have dedicated myself to making sure that every young person has an opportunity and a place to be nurtured into society, where they are otherwise forgotten.The Foundry School was pivotal in my life, and the County Office of Education basically dismantled that program and the components of what made it work. So I am trying to do my part to make sure that future generations have places, like the Foundry to nurture their souls to become healthy, happy adults that will ultimately give back to their community, not take away! love layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com
