I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm transplant to Baltimore MD from Huntingdon PA. I'm an artsy kind of guy, and have a BA in Studio Art. I've started singing again, and was with the New Wave Singers of Baltimore for about a year and a half. Sadly, due to a couple changes that Life has thrown, I had to temporarily bow out. Work, finances, and a sudden lack of transportation pretty much "clipped my wings". But I'll be back, no doubt; it's just a matter of WHEN. I think my voice has gotten better thanks to being in New Wave, and I'm still trying to find my own style. People say "Sing what you love to sing", but there seems to be so many styles that I like. Pop is a favorite, but I like to dig in to the classic standards too. Damn- I shoulda learned to play an instrument. That would come in REALLY helpful about now.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Well, aside from the ones I already know, I'd love to meet face-to-face the folks on my Friends List, Michelle Ari in particular. She'll always have a special MySpace place for me, because she's been REAL from the beginning. When I was new to MySpace, I had NO idea how to initiate a conversation, set up my page, nothin'. Michelle e-mailed me to say "Hi", and it's been one of the best cyber-friendships I've had. This certainly doesn't detract from some of the other folks. KOOLture and Miss Sixty are two others I'd love to meet in person. These folks are smart, funny, talented, and though obviously very busy with their own lives, they've always taken time to offer advice and opinions, share stories, talk about music,...It's almost like I already know them, but hey- there's NO substitute for a big old HUG, is there? :-)..
