MUSIC, radio, MUSIC, baseball, MUSIC, comedy, and MUSIC.
I would love to meet any current or former Cardinal greats, especially Big Mac, Pujols, Musial, Brock, etc. Music is such a big part of my life that I gotta list some musicians here too. I've met De La Soul, But would love to have more than a 3 minute conversation with them. Eminem, LL Cool J, Jay-Z, Paul Simon & Art Garfunkle, Paul McCartney, Prince, Flea, among others. I am a DJ (radio, AND clubs) so I would love to meet some of the masters of the craft of turntablism like Paul Oakenfold, Fatboy Slim, Funkmaster Flex, Grandmaster Flash, and any other DJ's that know how to throw down!!! As far as radio folk go, I would love to meet Howard Stern, Big Boi, Rush, Rick Dees, Casey Kasem, any of the greats. There are a couple comedians I would like to meet. Steven Wright (cause he is the funniest man alive), Tina Fey (cause she's so fuckin HOT), and Conan O'Brien (cause he's so politically incorrect).
The Golden Age of Hip-Hop (1986-1994). Old school Alternative (1993-1998). 60's & 70's Rock. 80's retro. More to come...I had a whole list made up, but it didn't save when I exited. DAMMIT!!
Empire Records, The Commitments, Forrest Gump, Porn, More to come here too...
I LOVE Friends, Will & Grace, almost anything on VH1, and almost anything on Comedy Central.
Drew Carey's book "Dirty Jokes & Beer" changed my life. I just finished reading a biography about Bob Dylan. I am currently reading Michael Moore "Stupid White Men". I finished a book a few months ago about the St. Louis Cardinals (I think its called "For Cardinal Fans Only"). I also recently finished "Remembering Jack Buck", which was quite possibly the most depressing book a Cardinal fan could ever read. Jack Buck was God's way of being nice to Cardinal Fans. I only read non-fiction.
I am setting the standard for heroes to be judged by from here on out.
