About Me

As far as personality goes: I was once a very shy person, but have learned to be more assertive and open. I'm very blunt and brutally honest...don't ask for my honest opinion unless you really want it and can handle it. I believe people have the capacity to change, but they have to want it enough and oftentimes have to prove it. I am emotional. I'm a good guy, but I'm also somewhat of a rebel. I like adventure and excitement. I don't like having my whole future mapped out...I think that uncertainty is at least half of the fun in life. Why would you want to know everything that's going to happen? I have loved...I have lost. I have overcome things in the face of adversity. I'm complex. I'm considered laid back although I always have a thousand somethings going on inside this brain of mine. I'm constantly evaluating what exactly is in my best interest. I am an optimist. I'm a lover and a fighter. I like eating pickles. I like telling long stories that are not very "to the point". I hate racism and all sorts of injustices in this world. Anything else you'd like to know, just ask. I'm an open book.

My Interests

Creating music and singing/playing guitars, reading magazines and books, writing poems and short stories, hanging out with my buddies, having deep conversations with people, discussing music, etc...the list goes on. I'm quite easily entertained.

I'd like to meet:

Well, musical heroes aside. I would like to meet someone that makes me feel happy when I'm around them. Someone who won't get out of my head once they enter it. Someone that will think I'm worth it. Someone that is just as spontaneous/creative/crazy as I am. Someone who is more focused on the "big picture" intstead of fretting about all the small stuff in life. Music:

Pink Floyd, Traffic, Kill Hannah, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Muse, Radiohead, Nirvana, Three Days Grace, Snow Patrol, Damien Rice, Lapush, Pete Yorn, Simon and Garfunkel, Johnny Cash, Gary Jules, Red Water Revival, Primus, The Toadies, BB King, etc....the list goes on and on. I have an extensive music collection.

Movies:

Scarface, Grandma's Boy, Half Baked, Requiem for a Dream, Spun, Blow, Borat, Waiting, Lords of Dogtown, etc....many many. I have quite a few movies I like and own.

Television:

House M.D., Nip/Tuck, Family Guy, South Park, Futurama, Robot Chicken, and music videos whenever they're on. I also frequent youtube. I consider that TV. I like Weeds also.

Books:

Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison, A Wrinkle in Time, Heavier than Heaven (biography of Kurt Cobain), Cash (autobiography of Johnny Cash), and many more. I like reading.

Heroes:

Kurt Cobain, Dimebag Darrel, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Lance Armstrong (I love biking!!), and anyone that is very charitable without wanting recognition.
