About Me

Made by Andrea Micheloni ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------About me??? I'm 27 now and that's too close to 30 for comfort...I live in Slidell and work as a secretary for the local police department. I'm addicted to travel. My next trip is always on my mind. I'm a student at UNO and studying Geography...it gives me more travel ideas.I have a big, close family that still hangs out together. It's always loud and chaotic and there's always a baby crying or a dog barking, but I wouldn't trade them for the world.I think I live on a farm. I can't go anywhere without tripping over an animal or having some member of "the flock" crowing, honking, or gobbling at me. I have a bad habit of collecting strays. If I can catch it, I can't leave it on it's own. Even the smallest of God's creation has a purpose.I love photography and it's rare to see me without a camera of some sort. When I see someone, it's a like a tick or something, but I always think about how to photograph them--that one has beautiful eyes, that one a great profile, that one has awesome hands.I can't follow directions to save my life, I hate being the first person to walk into a room, I could sit on the beach and watch the waves all night, I miss watching the sunset at Grand Canyon. I can't watch the news without ranting.Things I love: getting my niece to repeat crazy things, shoe shopping, Jeeps, looking at mom's prizes from ebay, holding Timmy when he first wakes up, spending the night with Mare, the Covington Goodwill, making "plans" with Stacie, Waimea Canyon, reading a good book, TripAdvisor, Lonely Planet, sleeping in on Saturdays, how happy my dog is when I come home from work, black and white photos, windy days, my supply closet at work, Timmy's play-doh sculptures, sitting under the big oak in the backyard, Long Dong, calling Grandma, watching every single episode of Spongebob Squarepants, burning stuff in the yard, Hilo Bay, going to Wal-Mart at least 5 times a week, Laney and the Iraqi, Peace of Maui, Super Ninentendo, Red Vines, watching murder and mayhem with Gretch, beating Aaron on Mortal Kombat, Moab, JB's glasses, movie time at Erika's, the way Laurie walks, the Blueberry, the Big Island, seeing the latest developments at Fort Bruce, hearing my grandpa tell my dad off, Joe's Place, watching Natalie walk her dogs, the Bourne movies, Orbitz Bubblemint gum, and Southwest Airlines...and a few I forgot: lunch, chocolate and shopping with Erin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~M y favorite quotes:"I didn't say I would. I said I'd try." "I know how to write a check." "What are you doing at church today?" "Yes, you're getting an Einsteins cake for your birthday." "I can't compete with stupidity." "Use the heel of your hand." "What the crap?" "Ok. No big jet, no hotel." "Shoo fly." "Gotta have hope." "I look for my boyfriend Long." "It'd be nice if you could pull me into town." "Hey, Buddy." "Baby I know." "You're going to fall and die." "I'm baffled." "If you don't eat, Handy Manny is not going to build the house." "I've got an errand to run." "Put the dog down." "Close your eyes and tell me what you see." "I'll be on my phone." "Pull your pants up, Patrick." "Next time I go to Wal-Mart." "When Mommy gets home." "Num, Naney, num." "Gammie goes to big girl college." "Two weeks."
