The streets soon blur our vision our goals our morals our friends our enemies. You say you know me understand me want me love me The alleys I ran barefooted as a child you never knew , you even fear to see them. The friends I buried never touched you So how can you know me understand me want me love me The streets have blurred my friends my enemies my familyWhat color should I die for? Blue? Red? or Gold? How old do I grow before my love of the color grows cold? Help me choose a symbol my friend can die for. The star? A Hat? Or a hand sign? It all makes sense? Who wouldn't die for a color or symbol? I would......wouldn't I? You can...won't you? My baby brother should..... shouldn't he? Are these symbols that hold us together, the meaning of life? Is a color as important as Freedom or a symbol and hand sign as virtuous as Love. Stop! What madness have we created. We fight and die for issues of no meaning. Gang Life has no future. No Profit. No virtue. No worthy goals. I choose a life with a future. I reject mindless commitments to meaningless issues and conflicts that gang life offers me. Why should I serve or follow these men who create conflict and hate to the point that it spirals out of control. Yesterday you were my friend and today you are my enemy because they say you are. Rubbish! I will choose my friends, my future, my destiny. Yes I would die for Freedom. No I won't die for your special color, symbol, hand sign, or street corner. What kind of brotherhood would ask me to do such a thing? I reject Gang Life and choose... Life!You can soar to heights only limited by your imagination. Our surroundings simply give us a starting point on life. Create in your mind the goals you want to achieve. Then make plans on how to accomplish them. Follow those plans with passion. Never give in to whimpering. Stay to your course. You will succeed. No Fate but what you make!If a man tells you he knows your future you tell him he is a liar. Never let another person plan out your life for you. Some will tell you there is no hope for you. Others will say you will never amount to anything. Sometimes the ones we love and trust the most may kill our spirits with low expectations for us. There are those who try to control our lives to use for their own gain. They will ask you to follow a lifestyle that leads to destruction. No one can predict or control our destiny unless we let them. Every man is empowered with the most amazing ability to control his own destiny. The creative power we have to force our life down a certain path is by far our most amazing attribute. Everyday we make thousands of decisions using our God given free will. If you mix creative ambition with your power of free will the world is yours. Never accept another mans plan for your life. You decide! Slow down and find some quite time to set your goals and make your plans. It takes time alone to figure out where you want to go in life. Remember there is Good and Evil in this world. Choose Good and reject evil and the One who made this universe will stand at your side to help you accomplish your Goals. Choose evil and you will reap a life filled with destruction and negativity. Seek the council of God and you will get his direction. Even God gives you the right to choose and make your own destiny. Choose wisely because some of our decisions can have life long impact on our lives. The prisons are full of people who figured that out to late.
