Looking back to 2002, New Way Productions has come a long way since its first production in the ski movie business. Starting with a personal project with a couple of friends, we put our our first full lenght project in april of 2003, in front of a crowd of less than 70 people.Quickly realizing the potential there was in the Quebec freeskiing scene, NWP moved on to work on a what would be its real first project, joining with some of Quebec's most talented up and comers. Selling out every seat there was in the IMAX theater in october of 2004 for the premiere of Forecast, NWP quickly moved up the Quebec's freeskiing scene. 2005 would prove an important year for the company, launching JD Zicat's career by submitting his winning promotionnal video to Level 1 Productions' Superunknown contest and starting travelling a lot more.In 2006, profiting from one of the best winters Quebec had seen in a long while, NWP joined with Alexandre Casabon and many new riders to produce what would be its biggest project yet, Snowy Delight. The movie would finally take the award for Best Rookie Film at the 2007 VAST Awards in Munich (check out www.vastawards.com for more info).So here we are at the end of the 2007 season, with some of the best footage we've ever had, almost ready to announce the release of our 5th and last project in the freeskiing scene. Enlarging our horizons towards different aspects of film-making, we want to finish our journey of ski-movie making with a project to be remembered.
