When does the life of one become more important than that of another? And who is to say how far we can go to save one? There is no scale, no graft, Because everyone who draws breath is equally important, For if not for the people on this earth, We would be nowhere, evolution, the progression of the planet, All would stop and cease to exist, Everyone has a part to play, Making each of us equally as important as another, So when you see one falling, Don't hesitate to give aid, For that significant life, Might be all that is needed, to put this world back on the right road...DJK.
As darkness covers the land below, The children sit in quiet concern, Will it be restful, Will it be frightful, Will the shadows cause me discomfort again, As they silently examine their rooms, Trying desperately to insure no intrusion, When at last the frightful time arrives, As they lay down unsure of what to come, They start to slip into a state of sleep, And once there everything diminishes, And is peaceful once again, For the next morn, all will comence again, The uncertainty of things in the night...DJK. Interpretation can be construde in oh, so many ways, The way we think, the way we feel, the way we come to aid, When one by one we start to fall, And things look rather grim, Take a step back and close your eyes upon opening them things will change, You see upon our minds receiving information, It has to make a choice,, Things are good, things are bad, We have to be directed, So the things we feel and ways we respond, Are not left to chance, It's all because of our minds interpretation, That brings us home to rest...DJK.
