WHAT'S UP MYSPACE? As you know, I am Dwyane Wade, the starting shooting guard for the Miami Heat. I am married to a beautiful woman named Siovaughn. I have loved her since my high school days. We support each other and love each other a lot. My teammates know me as "Flash" or "D.Wade". This is my 4th year in the NBA. We won our 1st NBA Championship in the 2005-06 season, and we are hoping to do it again each season. I worry about making my teammates better and supporting them with all I have and most importantly I have discipline on the court every step I take on it. I try to do my best every game and be the best I can be. I grew up playing basketball and I love it. Basketball is my ambition. It will always be apart of my life. I have a great coach Pat Riley and I support him. And we're just trying to be the best Miami Heat basketball team we can possibly be. I attended H. L. Richards High School in Oak Lawn, playing for the Bulldogs. I didn't see a lot of playing time my sophomore year. My stepbrother, Demetris McDaniel, was the star of the team. Growing four inches in the summer before my junior year, I proceeded to average 20.7 points and 7.6 rebounds during the ensuing season, while also tallying 100 assists and 73 steals.I averaged 27.0 points and 11.0 rebounds my senior year, helping my team to a 24-5 record and a berth in the title game of the Class AA Eisenhower Sectional. I broke the school records for points (676) and steals (106) in a single season. In 2000, I was No. 7 in the voting for the Illinois Mr. Basketball Award.I was recruited by only three schools — Marquette University, Illinois State and DePaul University.I was also a notable track star in high school.I was raised from a methodically Christian background. When praised for my feats, I am always to give thanks to God first.
