The film carries the song of a listless survivalist, named Na, who lives in the wilderness of upper Connecticut. Na sets out on a short errand to please his girlfriend, embarking on an unexpected odyssey from the quiet country to the chaos of the city and the 2004 Republican National Convention. The Ballad of Na was shot on location in New York City during the events of the RNC.
