Chi-Town is unique in that its big enough to get lost but small enough for the six degrees of seperation theory to be highly relative. Wit all of the crabs in a barrell it makes it hard in the Chi to get by. Niggas so thirsty and broke and hateful any display of wealth will warrant some unhappy chicagoan to wage an all out hate campaign. On the real.It's hard to grasp how a city can breed so many haters! It's like a city epidemic. There are the ever abundant poverty stricken ghetto haters, the downtown yuppie haters, the white and black people who hate section 8 holders, the old fat hoes who hate their younger up and coming hoes, etc. It's quite disturbing and comical to say the least. But true.Right now, im at that point in my life where I don't give a S**T! It's all about doing me. And a nigga can surely kick rocks if they don't like it. Life has taught me that I can trust me and my family and no one else. Not to be bleak but I know at this point who I can count on to love me inspite of myself besides Jesus. I'm not into fronting or not being true to myself. Phony kicking it makes my skin crawl and all money ain't good money.Soon and very soon my career will be stable which will give means to an end. And hopefully my love life will bear some good fruit instead of frogs claiming to be princes. Niggas making sure a woman is independent these days. Dick and bubblegum is what most got to offer. I refuse to go there and bash but dating in the 2000's is a battlefield. Seriously! You got to be a strong individual to deal with the current man/woman love thang. And it ain't just niggas acting up...it's the male species across the board. I will, howeva, keep the good faith that there are some disease free good men available. But damn! What is a girl to do? Hell! Word on the street is that same sex relationships are no better. So whadafux...I'm just saying.But for real, I'm upbeat and positive. I like to be a blessing and be blessed. I ain't perfect but I can look myself in the mirror and like the reflection I see. Life for me now is all about action. I've done alot of trial and error so at this point I know what works for me and what don't.I've made it out of the ball of confusion called the twenties and look forward to being a seasoned veteran in the mix. Breaking hearts and taking names. I'm feeling pretty optimistic people. Thank God for that!..
