Having left school with very little to show for all those years, a brief stint at a local computer communications firm (when modems where the size of pizza boxes!!) lead me to a wonderful place called Celmi, an 'Out-door Management Training Centre' in mid Wales kept me busy for 3 years after a very bad motor bike accident...With the compensation money from the accident, and after a few frustrating years working for bastard studio owner who were only interested in money, I bought my own 24 track studio equipment, it was in my house for a wee while, then in Watford and then in Barnet...I started to tour with bands after a chance meeting with a band in the studio who needed a live engineer - i said I hadn't done live sound before, and they said it didn't matter cos they hadn't toured before!!!!...and I haven't stopped since!!!!So now my main work is touring with bands in a number of different roles - Tour Manager, Production Manager or Sound Engineer, or a combination of all three!I work on shows of all sizes from the 'toilet' tour size up to Arena and Stadium size shows...I love all of them no matter what the size!With who did you say? Well, anybody who will pay me! Well, after 18 wonderful months, EDITORS are now writing and recording their new album. I have now been asked to look after RAZORLIGHT's Production needs for their 3rd album campaign...we are looking forward to 12 + months of mad touring!
