About Me

Born out of a necessity to try something new Instrumental were formed in the early nineties. They began as six frustrated string players eager to push the boundaries of the music scene. In 1999 they released an album of dance music covers; Acoustek, on the Big Chill label. Eagerly received they played festivals and clubs until a new challenge beckoned. With the experience Acoustek brought them, the group felt ready to write, record and produce their own album. With the addition of tracks by Orbital and Joby Talbot, 60 Buddhas is the result of the now 5-piece's creative energy over a year and a half. Watch out for their new remix project coming soon.60 BUDDHAS IS AVAILABLE ON ITUNES: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum? id=112375771&s=143444 ACOUSTEK hard to come by new but try this link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_?url=search-alias%3D popular&field-keywords=acoustek&x=0&y=0
