Ro*danmaa

Ro*danmaa is the sonic amalgamation of Kris Whidden and Henri Paltemaa. Henri and Kris grew up on the other side of the world from each other; Kris lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and Henri grew up in Helsinki. The band officially came together in 2001 in Henris basement studio. Henri played the guitar and keyboard (A nice Yamaha PS-55, a MicroKorg synth and virtual synths). and Kris played guitar, vocals and wrote the lyrics.

We indeed love the sounds of Air and Four Tet but don't want to be labeled as another copy band. Given those ingredients we try to make our own soup.
