About Me

Outstrument is one of the most exciting and innovative musical groups in today's independent market. They have a vast catalog of original music covering a wide variety of genres, from rock, blues jazz and even some country. Hailing from the hills of the lush Ohio Valley in West Virginia, Outstrument has been pleasing audiences all over West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania with their musical prowess and lyrical intellect. Outstrument always tells a musical story that really captures the ears and hearts of listeners from all walks of life.

Outstrument has pleased audiences in the Parkersburg, WV for several years. Now with a fresh line up and a new CD in the works, they are ready to bring their unique blend of music to the world. The men of Outstrument are now booking a variety of venues all over the region from various outdoor festivals to theaters, and everything in between. Outstrument will be bringing their “jam style” unique blend of genres to markets everywhere in support of their upcoming independent release “The Bible Thief.” along with some very fresh cover tunes not traditionally done by bands like The Talking Heads, Tom Waits, and even some a variety jazz standards just to name a few.

Outstrument consists of first co-founder Jeremiah Welch. Jeremiah plays keyboards, guitar and lead vocals in the band along with a majority of the songwriting capabilities. Jeremiah has pleased audiences for a while now with his lush piano harmonies and his soulful voice not to mention his quick lyrical intellect. The next member is the other co-founder Rich Mc Mullin. Rich has been a favorite to the northern WV music scene for years playing harmonica, guitar, and vocals. Rich has a very soulful harmonica style that most bluesmen would sell their soul for. Brandon Offenberger has been recruited for bass duty. Although he has only been with us a short time, he has quickly impressed audiences everywhere with his solid bass lines and grooves. Brandon can keep the party grooving all night. Outstrument is proud to have Brock Davisson on lead guitar. Brock is well know throughout northern WV and Ohio for his soulful style and his very unique style of electric guitar. Brock is a tremendous asset to any band and to any show. The lineup is finalized with Nate Figlar on drums. Armed with a music degree, Nate has been bringing to the table a wide variety of grooves delivered with rock solid timing. With Nate on the set listeners will be toe tapping and dancing with smiles all night long.

Outstrument is now wanting to bring their music to a wider audience. They are setting up a network consisting of venues, booking agents, labels, production companies and any other interested parties in supporting their music. They are looking to make long term win-win relationships within the music industry to create a high quality entertainment experiences for audiences and venues everywhere.
