With a soulful, smooth and engaging voice, Curtis Combs is now presenting his first recording featuring producers Jonathan 'Swole' Dumas, Jerod Dumas, and Marvin 'Jamey' Brown. The cd entitled "Exposed" provides the listener with music that inspires, encourages, and gives hope. Featured singles include "And I Told You", "Just When", and the beautiful and inspiring "Sunny Days."
Curtis graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BS degree in English. While in school, he sang with the school's gospel choir and chorus. After graduating he soon organized a community choir, Spiritual Harmony. Spiritual Harmony recorded a live cd in 2002, and gave Curtis the experience of writing songs for the first time. The cd entitled "With My Whole Heart" featured musicians: Jerod Dumas and Jonathan Dumas (Soul Intentions), Chris Mitchell (Almega), David Mack, and Derran Ford (The Welch Sisters). The recording of "With My Whole Heart" inspired Combs to record a debut solo cd.
With much inspiration from the loss of loved ones, Combs was able to express lyrically the feelings he had inside after losing family and close friends. The music has inspired many.
