They are based out of Dayton, Ohio, a departure from the Californian-centric based skateboard industry. They produce decks, wheels, apparel, and other skateboard accessories. Alien Workshop is known for their artistic graphical style with themes of paranoia and futurism often used.Alien Workshop is owned and distributed by DNA Distribution, which also owns Habitat Skateboards and Reflex Bearings.Alien Workshop has taken the stance of pro-domestic skateboard manufacturing, opting to get their boards manufactured in the USA and Canada instead of overseas.[1]On March 9, 2007, Alien Workshop started a new website AWS Filmworks to document their up coming video.
