--About Us:
Formed as a 2 piece band in 2002 with the live sound of a 5 piece band, SONE COMO CACA played its fair share of parties and built a steady following of rabid fans. 2003 saw the band add a bass player, Tony. The band was complete, they worked on their sound and continued to rock the masses.Shortly after their hugely successful summer tour. Tony hooked up with one of the fans and left the band.Down but not out, the founding members of SONE COMO CACA forged ahead. Placing ads and auditioning bass players. After many failed attempts, (remember Lurch?) and just about to give up, Dan came to a FCW gig, sat in on a few songs and didn't leave.In 2005, the band enjoyed 2 sold out nights at the world famous Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas and sold out the Hard Rock Cafe in SF.
The band then launched the summer 2006 tour begining with the BONE BASH 7.5 opening for Tesla and Sammy Hagar at the Shoreline Ampitheater in Mt View. 2006 came to an end with the many "closing of the Fremont Cabo Wabo" gigs and the year ending fan appreciation gig at the Hard Rock Cafe in San Francisco, CA.
In 2007 Dan moved on to Band Turismo. Our original bass player, Tony C, returned to the band and Rick Jensen joined the band as our drummer. This got Randy out from behind the drums to be a true front man.
In 2008 SONE went on a road trip to Arizona, San Diego and Salinas to open for the Bret Michaels Band. Thanks to Pete Evick for making that happen! We made new friends and new SONE fans for life! We ended the year with a kick ass show at the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas and a few shows at our new favorite spot - Pine St in Livermore.
Here we are in 2009 and getting ready to play the Tahoe Wabo Bar on May 1st and 2nd. Ready to see what else 2009 will bring!
