I like just about all kinds of music, but my favorites are rock and jazz. I'm a drummer and used to jam with my friends all the time before I joined the Navy. I've been drumming for 10 years and it's one of my greatest passions. I try to take after a lot of styles from different drummers and create my own sound.
My other passion is learning to become a pilot. I've taken courses through an Aviation/Ground School class at the Occupational Skills Center (OSC). I have flown both a Diamond DA-20 and a Robinson R-22.
I'm in the United States Navy as an Air Crewman. I'm stationed in Oklahoma right now, and will be for a few years. You're probably wonering what the navy is doing in Oklahoma, but it's okay, I didn't know we were out here either. I thought maybe they had some subs hiding in the lakes or something.
As I'm trying to save myself from the boredom of the middle of nowhere, I'm working towards being an officer before the end of my first enlistment. I'm trying to be a pilot for the Navy, but if nothing happens, I'll probably persue a career with my drumming.
