These were some of my first songs and first recordings! If you got here, it's most likely through my website joninicholsband.com or the band page on myspace.com (click here to go there.) What you see here is a small piece of the years of personal recordings I made over the years before making my first "real" (in the dark) The pictures here are the funny ones depicting the wonderful, very hi-tech process of recording with a digital 4 track and making my own cd covers and some of the people who helped me through that process. Perhaps I will change the songs ever so often to give a sampling of each of my home recorded albums. That way you HAVE A CLEAR PICTURE OF WHAT YOU'RE MISSING ... ok ...or not. Someday I'll have these re-mixed and mastered. But I will never throw them away, ok? No way. As bad as some of them sound technically, the soul is there. Oh yeah. Who doesn't go through the amateaur stage?
