I am here for Friends

About Me

I try to enjoy myself no matter what I'm doing, so I try always doing what I enjoy....
I've entered my 14th year teaching at The Recording Workshop , (Early Summer '95) and I'm still VERY satisfied with my job.
Of course it's easy to be satisfied when you get to be creative and then share your "expertise" with willing, eager minds. [(;-)
I taught for my first 5 years here, then was selected to be the Chief Tech, wound up doing that for 5 more years (learned so much and improved myself), but missed teaching regularly.
Now I'm back to teaching, and Loving It! Kinda miss the Tech work sometimes...
(sorry if you were expecting a tragic story) [(:-(
I still get a kick out of connecting with my students and sharing my understanding of electronics and recording equipment with them ...and then watch their eyes light up when it all suddenly makes sense.
I've also been working the live sound angle for many more years, and I've partnered up with the right people and I finally have the equipment to have done sound for some national clients.
I enjoy doing live sound either being engineer or system technician... Especially when things are going well. [(;-) [hehe]
I've had the fortune to work with a few big name bands, and I've added them as friends (as I find them).
The EXCEPTions to that is Pink Floyd; and I've only met Moby and Greta.
I've also had the true blessing to have a wife that has stuck it out with me. I mean really, we've been together for 20 years (Nov '88).
♥ Brigitte ♥ is a very kind soul. She understands this audio passion of mine, and still encourages me to do what I Love. ♥
I've lost weight (if you remember me heavy), quit smoking cigarettes, got my teeth straightened, still need my hat though... [(:-D
I'm an Army Veteran (Sergeant/Communications/Desert Storm and Haiti), so I'm into details, and organization and being in charge...
glad to be a civilian now. [(:-)

Setups for "Monitor World"

First of all get a 2 way split snake so your mics run to two consoles. I know, I know everything seems so "pie in the sky", but you get what you pay for, and quality ain't free. (consider buying used...
