About Me

Click Below to Buy AlbumHip hop, other ground all stars P.L.G. (Para La Gente) redefine street swagger with their debut album “People Living Growing.” Led by Cambio’s smooth and playful flows, the quintet delivers a diverse collection of 12 tracks with a live music foundation of drums, bass and guitars, mixed with a dynamic orchestra of keys, horns and DJ cuts and topped with the latest in digital production.Lyrically, PLG draws on its evolving life and politics to deliver genuine classics like "Synth Love," a track that challenges the notion of "he/she is not your type" with a banging club beat and "These are the Times," a heartfelt band anthem. People Living Growing is also packed full with guest artists, from the warm and jazzy “Leaders of the New New School” featuring Alex Lee to the afrobeat-influenced “Say Something” featuring Mexico City's Bocafloja to chilled-out “Take It Back,” a hip hop golden age reminiscence with DJ Spinobi formerly of Ozomatli. The upstart band is kicking off an ambitious album tour in Mexico with Bocafloja and other international artists for three weeks in July, getting crowds hyped with lyrical, rocking, funkdafied, fire. Based from Cali’s Central Coast, PLG has been steady swaying major city nightclubs, college campuses, political protest rallies, music festivals, down to all-ages shows at youth centers since its birth in 2003. “People Living Growing" is destined to surprise longtime fans and elevate the band to the international level.Contact [email protected]
