A few too many drinks during a Super Bowl party forced lead guitarist Jeff to stay over at drummer Susette's house. The next morning over coffee they got up and started jamming. They clicked instantly, wrote some great songs and "THE OTHER OTHERZ" were born. Susette Andres was co- founder of Polygram recording artists PRECIOUS METAL. Susette also was in WYLD HEARTS AND BOMBSHELL (produced by Rikki Rockett from Poison). Her bands have shared the stage with GUNS AND ROSES,WARRANT,RACER X , FASTER PUSSY CAT, SHARK ISLAND, and many of the other great hair bands. Susette has been playing drums since the age of five. She has studied with some of the best drummers including Bobby Rhondinelli (Rainbow), Carmine Appice(Rod Stewart), Randy Castille (Ozzy) and Gregg Bissonette(David Lee Roth). She made it into the Guitar Center Drum Off finals. Jeff Mattern toured all over Europe with top ten recording artists Fantastics. He plays a mean guitar and his style is greatly influenced by Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and of course Eddie Van Halen. Jeff wows audiences with his flashy, fast but accurate playing. Jeff comes up with great music to Susette's songs. Jeff and Susette also write music for TV, Movies, commercials and other artists under the name STRUM AND DRUM. They belong to the A&R group TAXI. Colleen Bromsey is the main back up vocalist, sometimes lead vocalist, percussionist and rhythm guitarist. She has a beautiful angel like voice that complements the original material beautifully! Susette heard Colleen sing out at a club one night and knew she would be the perfect addition to complete the unique sound of The Other OtherZ. Colleen was also recently chosen to sing the National Anthem at the Jet Hawk games at their stadium. Her infectious smile and great attitude truly make her an asset to this hard working band.Ryan Saul Always interested in music, Ryan learned to play bass guitar and piano at a very young age.He joined his first band while in highschool. Later on, his self recorded, unsigned group raised some interest on local California radio stations. Unfortunately the band went their seperate ways after a difference in musical interests and directions tore them apart. Ryan continued to write and play music and often recorded solo or with his brothers.
