I grew up outside of a small town in North Carolina. For the past 6 years, I haved lived in Atlanta, Georgia. Living in the middle of a big city is so much fun...great restaurants, we're close to the park, museums, theater, etc. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2001 with a degree in Elementary Education. I currently teach 2nd grade in Alpharetta. I'm also working on my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. In April of 2005, I married my best friend, Lindsey. We met in college at a conference in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a school counselor at a different elementary school. We both love what we do and wouldn't do anything else. In my spare time, I love to travel, cook, and watch college football (Go Dawgs!!).
