I first started to listen roots music from a very early age, and like most people was given records from my mum and dads friends & family the usual stuff Elvis, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee, Buddy,. But then My Uncle moved to Australia and I got his records Sonny Terry, Big Bill Broonzy, Johnny Cash to name bur a few., and I would spend hours listening to them in my bedroom. But the first record I went out and bought was Hank Mizzell's "Jungle Rock" on Charley, and as soon as those tribal beats thumped outta my red & white danset I was hooked. I started going to Rockabilly and Psychobilly clubs and gigs Like the Klubfoot, silks, Dingwalls etc.. which I still do. My other passion is football and have followed Chelsea since I was a boy when my dad would take me, then when I was old enough I would go everyweek with mates from school this turned into a habit which continues to this day. I still yearn for the return of the terraces, and any supporter who went in the 70’s & 80’s and early 90’s will tell you what a laugh it was. I hate the money in football which is now slowly killing our national sport., right rant over for now ..........
