Worth far more than rubies

I am here for Friends

About Me

I am a child of the King (and I don't mean Elvis) try 1 John 3v1. A wife, daughter, aunt, God-mother and friend. I collect friends but lose umbrellas, love laughing til I cry, sunny days, misty sunrises, watching lightning, a childs toothless smile, hugs that mean something, snowball fights, watching the stars, eating chicken with my fingers, Walkers salt & vinegar crisps, driving fast with the top down , the smell of the ocean & sand between my toes, jumping off the high diving board, walking hand in hand with Matt in the moonlight, dancing when no-one's watching, talking for hours with my beloved Flo, eating strawberries for breakfast and chocolate for supper. BUT I won't be a proper quentissential Brit if I didn't love a good cuppa........

I don't like getting up on dark mornings, speeding tickets (of which I've had a few), getting lost, brussel sprouts, doing housework, dirty public loos, being late, ironing, German bus drivers, two facedness, bad breath, toothache or boring sermons.
You should know that I much prefer to be behind the camera rather than in front of one, but here you are, just little old me..................

And here is the Harrison Family Album, they opened their collective arms to me 20 years ago - crazy crazy people, but I love them dearly.

Unlike Big Granny (my Monster-in-Law) I’m not yet old enough to have a history. Considering that my own mother only recently stopped claiming to be “just approaching middle age” when she hit 60, I’ve along way to go yet.
But in the part of my life that is already behind me, I’ve managed to tot up a few adventures (aswell as some mis-adventures), have married an awesome husband, made some wonderful friends, aquired a georgous God Son – Mungo - and been well endowed with an abundance of nieces and nephews. The oldest of whom, Jules, has lived with me for 2 1/2 years and is a daughter/sister/best-friend all rolled into one.
I can be abit of a control freak at times but I'm working on that; with a 7 step plan, excel sheet and daily to do list (tic)! Although I'm young enough remember black and white TV, I don't think my life would function without email or a mobile phone. Also, wonderous blessings should be poured out on the person who invented GPS.
Born on the N/W coast of England I now live in the hills of central Germany having de-toured through Scotland for a while. Very much enjoying the present and with the future racing towards me I want to make it count and serve Him who saved me.
