Ever since he was a little kid, sitting on the floor playing sad country songs on his portable turntable, music has been a close friend to Thorbjørn Elgenes, He was born and raised in Kristiansund, a small town by the sea in Norway. Today he lives in Lillehammer, not far from Oslo. Tree years ago he finally started writing songs, and these days he is working in studio recording his material. If you find a good melody, write a lyric to it, and perform it with an acoustic guitar, harmonies, and finally add some musicians who remember the soft sounds of the seventies, youll end up pretty close to were his music lives.
