I have been given awards for my football on that sounds out the most is been recognized by Time magazine as one of 2004's Time (Heroes & Icons).I am currently the fifth most capped English player of all time, and have twice been the runner up in the FIFA World Player Of The Year Award in 1999 and 2001 and I am only Englishman to score in three different World Cups, One of my greatest achievemtns was been made captain of the English national team from 15 November 2000 to 2 July 2006.My career began when he signed a professional contract with Manchester United, and i made my first first-team appearance in 1992, at the age of 17. I accomplishing with club football The Treble of the League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League in 1999. I left the club to become only the third Englishman to sign for Real Madrid in 2003, after Laurie Cunningham and Steve McManaman.In 2006, after England's quarter-final exit at the World Cup in Germany, I decided to stand down as captain. I was then succeeded by Chelsea captain John Terry. who i wish the best of luck to.On 11 January 2007, I agreed to a move to the Major League Soccer (MLS) team Los Angeles Galaxy on a five year contract beginning on 1 July 2007, after my current deal with Real Madrid expires.I am looking forward to joining LA Galaxy and playing soccer in the USA, i hope this move will create more intrest in the game and also i will be able to represent the game or those wanting to know if im the real David Beckham well yes i am! i know its kind if hard to believe but its true im just the same as any other person trying to see what all the fuss is about myspace! i think myspace is great its a chance to talk to some of you guys!! im sorry if i have not got back to some of your message but iv been very busy. but i will try and get back to most of your messages!id also like to say that i will be changing my top 8 every month when i get the chance so have a look from time to time and see if you made it to the top...
