Any previously made plans can and will be dropped for the next swell. I am also the founder of car-jitsu, an art whose sole purpose is to drink and keep drinking. While jiu-jitsu uses the arm bar to tap out its opponents, I use the open bar to tap them out. In a perfect world, the tap would never run out with car-jitsu.
