sleeping in, eating, cinema, literature, musical theatre (very camp of me i know), drawing, taking photos, indulging in retail therapy (often)...
The Smiths, Belle and Sebastian, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, India Arie, Coldplay, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (very cool, don't judge me harshly), The Carpenters, the Mighty, Mighty Bosstones, Stereophonics, The B-52's etc.etc
The list is quite lengthy(and is composed of films that vary from stunning cinematic experiences to films that have become my own personal cult classics)but here we go: Picnic at Hanging Rock, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Bout de Souffle (Breathless), Ghost World, Amelie, Gone with the Wind, Meet me in St. Louis, A Star is Born (judy garland version) Beaches, Psycho, Vertigo, The Crucible, Donnie Darko, The Thorn Birds, Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice (okay so the latter three are technically mini-series but whatever), Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory (that's the original one), Bladerunner, Dick, Mermaids, Mary Poppins, Dirty Dancing, The Graduate, Schindler's List, Fame!, Singin' in the Rain, Lost in Translation, Muriel's Wedding, Hairspray, Clueless, La Haine (Hate),etc. etcLeast Favourite films / Films that i despise: Charlies Angels: Full Throttle - perhaps the worst film ever made in my opinion, Crash - the Kronenberg (Cronenberg? Cronenburg?) film, not the recent one (i probably don't really hate this, it's just really disturbing) James Bond films, - stay tuned, i'm sure i will think of more.
Gilmore Girls, Six Feet Under, Teachers, Prison Break, The Simpsons, The Office (even the american version is good!) Daria
Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Wives and Daughters, North and South, Jane Eyre, The Woman in White, King Lear, Macbeth, The Virgin Suicides, The Secret History, The Sound and the Fury, Animal Farm, Almost French, Harry Potter, etc. etc!Am currently reading: "Hunters and Gatherers" by Anna Gavalda
see the "books" section above, take the protagonist from each book, line them up in a row, and there you have my heroes! Except maybe Napoleon the pig from Animal Farm. Or Macbeth. Or...okay, so that tactic doesn't really work. I don't know about heroes then. Judy Garland?
(hmm...overdosed in a hotel bathroom....maybe not...)I'll
get back to you on this one.
