Myself! Oh, okay, other things too, sometimes. I am interested in all sorts of mental disorders large and small, not to mention the trappings of the criminal mind. I could read about that stuff all day; hell, I think I have. I'm also a huge fan of shoes, wonderful, glorious, high-heeled masterpieces... but I only have about four pair. Cruel world, innit? I am also completely in love with horror movies, especially the shittastic kind that make me squeal like a schoolgirl (Evil Unleashed: Curse of the Mummy, anyone?), and actually good ones that make me wet myself (more than normal).
People. Preferably the silly, smart kind. Not pretentious assholes, or people who think they're goth because they shop at Hot Topic. Someone with a good sense of humor, that likes to talk and do strange things. A person that will bring out either the good or bad in me... not the boredom! Also, literate people. I realize that you couldn't be reading this if you were illiterate, but that's not what I mean. I get tired of meeting people that don't read, or don't like to read. But I also get tired of people that think they're fantastically smart because they understand 'big words' (read a recent Dean Koontz and you'll know what I'm talking about). So don't be either of those people, and we'll get along swimmingly. One last thing. If you know who Neil Gaiman is (and, better yet, like his stuff), you are my hero.
Rasputina; Poe; Darling Violetta; Aimee Mann; Jill Tracy; The Dresden Dolls; Tracy Bonham; We Are the Fury; K.T. Tunstall; Bond; Beethoven; Vivaldi; Mozart (his Requiem, anyway). You know, good stuff.
Secretary; Groundhog Day; Misery; The Green Mile; The Closet; The Ring; The Exorcist; Girl, Interrupted; A Tale of Two Sisters; Red Eye; Death Becomes Her (I enjoyed this far too much); Zoolander; Evil Unleashed: Curse of the Mummy; The Fantastic Four (the older bootleg never-released one, not the new one). And many more I'm too lazy to think of right now.
SOUTH PARK (the best!), Friends, Angel, Nip/Tuck, Buffy, Desperate Housewives, Arrested Development, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sex and the City, Robot Chicken, Project Runway, Moral Orel, Aqua Teen Hunger Force (blame my ex for this one), Top Chef, America's Next Top Model, The Colbert Report, Who Wants To Be A Superhero, Danny Phantom; all my faves.
Encyclopedia Neurotica, Anansi Boys, The Good Patient, Misery, The Green Mile, The Shining, Sleep Toward Heaven, American Gods, the Sandman series, Sickened, Lucky, The Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, Flowers for Algernon, First Person Plural, I'm Not the New Me, etc. And nothing by James Frey (the lying little bitch).
Any soul who perseveres in times of hardship. This includes a lot of people, but a lot of people deserve to be included, you know?
