Acting, video games, eating, drinking, sleeping (but not when insomnia is running ramped), driving around for no reason other than to kill time, watching box-set series now available on DVD at your local retailer, taking up two to three table at an Applebee's to accommodate way too many shore friends or theatre friends, playing NHL Hitz with the hometown friends, long walks on the beach, dancing when no one is watching, jumping on beds, splashing in puddles, and petting doggies.
Random people giving out money, people with a sense of humor, someone that can give a good high-five should the occasion arise, Shigeru Miyamoto, my inner-child, that guy who took my left arm in Nam.
I'm open for anything. The radio stations on my car are the pre-programed ones that were there when I bought the car three years ago...But, a quick glance at my playlist reveals a plethora of artists ranging from Red Hot Chili Peppers to The Shins to Daft Punk to Sublime to Tool back to Postal Service to Snoop Dogg to Gorillaz to Modest Mouse to Cherry Poppin' Daddies to Smashing Pumpkins and a some Weezer thrown in there...Yea, there's plenty there...
I use to work at a Hollywood Video, so I've seen plenty, but, in my immediate collection we have: Spaceballs, Clerks, Van Wilder, Adaptation, The Royal Tenenbaums, Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind, Snatch, Kung Fu Hustle, A Beautiful Mind, V for Vendetta, Catch Me If You Can, Super Troopers, Kill Bill, Office Space, The Money Pit, Sin City, 40 Year Old Virgin, Garden State, Anchorman, Poolhall Junkies, Memento, The Big Lebowski, Monty Python and The Quest for the Holy Grail, Meaning of Life, Life of Brian, Spirited Away, Fight Club, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, The New Guy, Something About Mary, Vinilla Sky, and Igby Goes Down...To name a few...Trust me, there's plenty more...
Adult Swim, FUSE, Comedy Central. The only three channels anyone needs...But, to add specific shows...Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy (before everyone and their brother started watching), Futurama, House, Nip/Tuck, Reno 911, Drawn Together, Invader Zim, Home Movies, and as much as it pains me, I did recently get dragged into Lost...But I still stand by my statement that it does NOT live up to the hype...There, I said it...
The Hitchhickers' Guide to the Galaxy, Fight Club...There...I think I just named all the books I read in the past 2 years...But, in my defence, the HGttG is really 5 books in one...
Fist Brickwall, great guy...Or my idol, Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes comics. And there was once this snail that crossed the street...Quite a trek for the little guy. Made me look on my own life and how I look in the face of adversity...Then I cried.
