About Me

I’m very empathic and self-aware. This makes me emotionally vulnerable. I have a natural and honest kindness that I think is charming about me. I’m prepared to show others the same understanding that I ask of them, without effort. I truly care about the people I know and sometimes have great difficulty with saying goodbye. Being alone is never something that should take long, even though I have a great need for freedom.
I’m still learning to love myself. I want to see and learn as much as I can in the world. Whatever I do, I try to do a good job. But it’s very important that I enjoy what I do, otherwise I soon lack the energy. I sometimes take life too seriously. I exhaust myself by experiencing every issue as a personal challenge. I sometimes have difficulty expressing myself without agitating others, although that’s never my intention.
My idealism and my thoughts on how the world should be are huge. Therefore I really know the meaning of disappointment. My work and goals are very important to me. In everything I do, I aim for excellence. Sometimes I’m too perfectionistic. I often feel lonely and unsupported by my environment, friends and family. This while I really need a lot of support. My mind is constantly at work and I feel the need to express those ideas. It pisses me off when people don’t take them seriously, whether I execute them or not.
I need a lot of freedom to thrive. I really understand how important it is to be able to be yourself. No masks. Sometimes I see ways to reach a goal that others don’t see till I explain it to them. I’m attracted to everything that’s new, exciting and different, so I’m also very tolerating when it comes to these traits in others.

My Interests

I’m totally fascinated by mythology, so naturally I’m a fan of Joseph Campbell! But I never would have come across him if I hadn’t been blown away by Star Wars. George Lucas truly is one of my heroes. Not only did he create the Star Wars and Indiana Jones series, he also founded a number of companies that changed cinema forever. Jung also takes my interest, I’m very interested in symbols and archetypes.

I’m also a big fan of the Internet and how it evolves. I’ve been a member of Bowienet. By the way his seventies work is amazing!

Some of my other favorite subjects are: religion, androgyny, love, death, God, the metropolis, the body, the cyborg, the ghetto, and so on....

The Downward Spiral - Nine Inch Nails

a silly bet

Hey everyone! So I made this silly bet to write a non-fiction book in one month. The point isn't to write something of high quality, but to see if I can pull it off and use whatever I've learn...
