About Me
I am a drummer from a small island off the coast of North Carolina called Bermuda. I have been playing drums since the age of three with my father’s band. I have a very musical family. My Mom sings & my Dad plays bass among other instruments. I have been working a lot lately with my band. The Band's Name is "THE UNIT" No Not G-Unit! We are a Smooth Jazz/ R&B Band. We play lots of Venues in the island; we are also working now with Gita Blakney, a local recording artist. I am also the Musical Director for the Bermuda Idol Band. There are some major drum influences have a major affect on my playing (in no special order) Like Dennis Chambers, Carter Beauford, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckle, Steve Smith, Aaron Spears, Nissan Stewart, Gorden Campbell, Teddy Campbell, Lil John Roberts, Terron Gully, Jeff Tain Watts, Demiyon Hall, Brian Frasier-Moore, Gerald Hayward, Rex Hardy, Felix "Dkat" Pollard, Robert "Sput" Seawright, Dana Hawkins, Eric Tribett and the list go's on & on. I also have an infatuation with the Bass Guitar, but haven’t had the chance to learn yet. I am also a Drum Technician & i have worked directly & indirectly for some major artists like: George Duke, Cameo, Jaguar Wright, Angie Stone, Gladys Knight, Gerald Albright, Balial, India Arie, Marcus Johnson, Roy Ayers, and So if you are ever in Bermuda, Keep your eyes open for me.
