I am am a Dalmatian Dog, I am very friendly and love well be haved dogs and well behaved people. I am dignified yet a bit daffy...I can be serious although I'm usually very silly. I am very smart and well behaved and I get to go to many places with my Mistress like New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and to Pittsburgh to see my Grandpaw and Uncle. I love to dine out, I prefer poking around at rancid stuff on streets, although I'm fine with sitting under a table at a cafe catching scraps, and I love when my Mistress cooks cuz she always manages to drop stuff for me to vacuum up.
I've worked and played hard most of my life; I am a retired show dog, and I'm not barking about the "Breed" type show that is all about beauty, although I've been told I'm quite dashing. I am a professionally trained and a twice Titled in the Obedience ring. That, my friends is the "brainy" part of dog shows that you don't see much of on TV. I know verbal and hand commands, scent detection and much more. I am also trained in agility which is the really fun competition where I go through tunnels and jump over poles and up and down A-frames.
I also am a certified Therapy Dog which allows me to do volunteer work with children in hospitals, Scout Troupes and cheer up people in re-hab centers. Heck, I'm a busy guy! Having said all of that, I am actually very humble, my mistress is the one who does the bragging, so don't hold it against me.
My real crowd pleaser is when I hold my lead and walk myself, all eyes are on me when I do that! So If you see me on one of my many walks on Atlantic Ave, A1A, Lake Ida Dog-Park or any other cool place, say hey, give me a pat or smooch, and most of all toss me a tasty treat!
