About Me

I'm not much for big wording when it comes to telling you about myself. I would love to tell you that I am great at describing myself, but that wouldn't be all true. So, to save myself from a headache with trying to think of just the right thing to say here, this is me.... I am 27 years young. I have a wonderful husband, an amazing 2 year old little boy & a new, very handsome baby boy. We are back in Colorado now, where we grew up, met, dated & married! Life seems to be pretty normal from day to day. Some days it feels as though we are still only on vacation. We loved being in Southern California so much. I am however, excited to be close to our family & friends. I know that I will miss very much everything we grew to love and cherish in California! We have many memories and many friends there that will never be forgotten. So for the sake of not making life complicated, I will for now, just smile and know that God has everything in my life under control!

My Interests

Okay, so I'm kind of a wine snob I guess! I love to drink wine and I'm pretty picky about the kind I drink. I have a new found love for sushi! Escpecially for the California and Philly rolls. I love to watch movies that make me cry. And I REALLY LOVE the beach. That is something I will miss very much!!

I'd like to meet:

Well, most importantly I want to meet Jesus, which will inevitably happen when I get to heaven. I really wish that I could have met Albert Einstein, Helen Keller or President Roosevelt. I would still like to meet Nancy Regan or maybe President Bush. I have loads of questions for both. I wish I could meet up with all of those people I lost track of in High school. You know, the ones who promised to keep in touch forever and I haven't heard from since! And maybe some of those folks who I just haven't seen in years. Anyone who is adventurous, takes life a little less than serious, or just wants new friends! I get excited to reconnect with old friends and really love meeting new ones!

Music:

I love just about anything that I can dance to. I'm not too excited about country or real heavy metal. But I love 80's music. Takes me back a little to when I was a kid. Certain songs make me think of certain people and I love when I hear a song and go "OH! I remember when......"

Movies:

There are way too many movies to list here. But some of my favs are The Harry Potter movies, The Notebook, Top Gun, The Wizard of Oz, Weekend @ Bernies & Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Open Season. I like movies that are funny but enjoy some that will make me cry too!!

Television:

Ryan and I love to sit together and watch "Who's line is it anyway." But on my own, I like any kind of decorating show, the Discovery Times channel, Law & Order, One Tree Hill & Smallville.

Books:

I love to read about real life topics, things that I can find someway to relate it to myself. I've read Bringing up Boys, The Secret Life of Bees, Blue Like Jazz, Sheet Music and am now reading a book called Mom to Mom; Confession of a "Mother Inferior."

Heroes:

Jesus Christ! He died on a cross so that I could live! I think that's hero enough for me!
