About Me

My friend Mike who's a composer in Cincinnati came over to the house one day and said "You have to listen to this dude Daniel Johnston, he can't sing that well, or play for that matter, but his songs will blow you away..." I loved the song "I Did Acid With Caroline" which consists of 3 chords that I learned once. I thought, "I could do that!" So I did do that. I borrowed my roomates backpacker guitar that night, headed up to a local open-mic, got on the stage and said "I only know how to play this one Daniel Johnston song. So here it is." I got a great response from the crowd and started learning or writing a new song every week. I havn't stopped since. I played all around New York City solo as well as with an experimental pop group led by my good friend Paul Hogan (listen to his group "Frances" at www.myspace.com/francestheband). I live in Columbus now and I would love to play with anyone, anywhere, anytime. I play several different instruments (guitar, harmonica, banjo, ukulele, FM radio, glockenspiel, warbly singing, and other stuff too), if you're interested drop me a line. IM me at BanjoStory2... If you want. The 1st video below is MONTY PYTHON "THE CHEESE SHOP", very halarious, the second is me singing "Garbage" and the third one is "My Flying Ukulele" Garbage
My very own Daniel Johnston drawing. "Some people never go crazy, what truly horrible lives they must live." -CB Most kids get piano lessons, my kids will get buchla lessons. Cash Monet where are you?

A bulletin posted about me from the Koenig Sisters that made me very happy.

This guy must be the nicest person of the world. He took his ukulele and wrote a song about the Koenig' Sisters. Last but not least, he made a video of this :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz16XwsQxpk...

About -- G Train For Ukulele

Anyone who's ever lived in Brooklyn can probably somehow relate to this little tune.  The G train is the only subway line that goes between Brooklyn and Queens, it's shorter than most trains, and...

About -- How I Met Veronica
