About Me

Well….. I was born in Athens but lived my first 2 years in Crete. Up to the age of 11 I thought I was going to be an archaeologist… till… one summer afternoon I heard a disco track – I remember it was “Barracuda” or something like that – on an AM radio station. That’s when I realised I wanted to do something with music. Listening to legendary Yiannis Petridis radio shows since 1979 I found it!!!!!!! I wanna be a radio DJ – producer! My dream came true in 1988. I began radio shows for ERT / ERA GREEK RADIO which I continued till 2004. Since 1984 I haven’t stopped doing stuff around music: radio, TV, concerts, event management & organising, lots of records (mainly compilations), tons of articles & interviews for several Greek mags… When I realised that what I was missing in my personal and professional life was to have my own record label. Thanx to Don’s faith in my dream and inspiration and the help, pure luv and support of M.M. and EMI’s Greek team, we created BIG FIASCO in Oct. 2006. Our first 3 releases are already in the official charts, are being played in clubs and used as ringtones for mobiles (thru digital downloading). Have a look @ www.myspace.com/bigfiascostudio.
