The 5 piece band decided to go in a different direction and create music that allowed all of our different personalities shine through. Camilo Espitia brings his catchy hooks and vocal..songwriting style to the group and writes the lyrics as well as sings them. Sergio "Checho" Verdeza brings us blues inspired bass lines guaranteed to make you wanna shake something. John Sites comes from a rock background and drives the groove bus and takes to places you've never been but never wanna leave once you get there. Oscar "PapiTiTo" Dudamel and Alejandro Guardia make up the horn section each from jazz, classical and comercial backgrounds they bring Burning solos and Powerful Melodies to complement Camilo's Lyrics.Mojo Funk and the Owners hav played at several venues including Jazzid (S. Beach), I/O Lounge (Downtown), Macarenas (S. Beach), and The Blue Coyote (Boca Raton) among others. We have also done several performances on TV and radio.
