The Almighty Whiteys

About Me

It all started when Michael was 18 and on speed. He used to be so inspired, mostly by prison and long nights doing crossword puzzles tweaked out of his brains. It was just him for a long time until a year ago or so when he met his musical soulmate Dale Clark, a dorky alcoholic stoner with limited talent and no pretention about that fact. Together, through many drinks, a few arguments, and a lot of pot, they formed the Almighty Whiteys, an acoustic cover band also playing Michael's folk songs about prison, drugs, and shitty women. Unfortunately, as soon as they started to have some real chemistry Dale went nuts and moved 2000 miles away to Portland, OR. Michael shortly followed, although his move took him to Albuquerque, NM where he continues the band's name through his solo performances. Occasionally, when money and time are right, they have been known to meet together for a few reunion sessions, i.e. getting really baked and playing guitar while drunk on cheap beer.
