A Nottingham/London based female acoustic duo, The Herb Birds perform a whole range of covers along with their own original material. Both Tee Dymond (acoustic guitar / vocals) and Katty Heath (vocals / percussion) are experienced performers and have been playing together for over 11 years.
From humble beginnings at the Golden Fleece's open mic sessions, they gig regularly at a variety of venues across Nottingham and it's surrounding area. Residencies currently include The Approach, The Southbank Bar, and The Boathouse at Farndon.
Their CV is as diverse as the set they perform, having played numerous weddings, parties and charity events as well as making several appearances on BBC Radio Nottingham. In 2006 the girls performed at The Royal Concert Hall along with other well known artists in the tribute show 'Let it be The Beatles' for BBC Children In Need.
Festivals include Nottingham's Green Festival, The Caribbean Carnival, Pride, Loughborough's 'Streets Alive' and 'Picnic in the Park', Sola Festival in Sherwood Forest and a crowning moment at Glastonbury 2000 where they performed a well received set of their own songs on the Avalon stage.
In 2001 Tee and Katty spent a month in Canada where they played gigs in Toronto, Saskatoon and Edmonton.
For the past six years the girls have ventured out to the Alps during the winter season to play in French and Swiss ski resorts.
