I live in Hawaii, I am a survivor of Systmic Lupus 11YEARS,and my goal is to start my own foundation to help support other women who are suffering from this horrible disease. I stand as a true example that you don't have to believe what the doctors tell you about your life expectancy, it is all up to you to have Faith and that is what has gotten me through all of the hard times. I have wonderful friends and family that has also supported me, but I know I have a purpose for being here in this life I have something to give back and in ,my heart I know it is my life's work to share with others the belief that you don't have to be a victim to your circumstances. I enjoy spending time with my 3 children Kailani 14 Keani 4 and Kekoa 3,.and have every intension of being here for them for along long time........And plan on making a difference in peoples lives that are living with Lupus.Three years of chemo, and dialysis I was lucky to recover Kidney failure without having to have a transplant.I am a survivor and I wont ever give up...........This year I came out of remission and found out my lupus was attacking my arteries, my left hand turned purple due to blood clots and i am back on steriods, blood thinners and a bunch of other medications. Yes its a set back but that ,that does not kill us makes us stronger. I am stronger than Lupus and am more determined than ever to give lupus a voice and paint the world purple...Never give up
