Stilled Room
Stilled room embrace me
Sane and sober dawn erase me
With light untouched
By day
And craving, clutch
This evening’s play
O drama diva
Be the still my room is
When you leave
Notice that in need there is
Both succour
And a greed
If an embrace is
Nothing more than racing hearts
A race is only won
By one
And one is lonely, you or me
And dance is not the lead
Be still my room
The fifth wind of Pisces
Was a wind
Pisces
Was a feral wind aware?

Blown to seed them
Sown by freedom
Plant genes are a ‘flight
Was a feral wind the wind that moves us to a cliff tonight?
Man’s at cliff edge
All is patience
Pisces
Patience
Fill with love this sea abyss
If a feral wind’s adrift
And man has listened well to this

Metta for an upstream fish
*metta is the sublime practice of loving kindness

Stone or sand the drawing hand
Chooses
If to carve with lasting nail
Or wind moved finger
Painting
If to come with lasting step
Its gentle print is
Transient
Petal or root
The careful foot
Chooses

A river takes and let it be forever so
To its drying end
Not willingly – I willingly
Surrender in the pulling
Flow

The path is ending and let it be forever so
To sufferings end
Not willingly – I willingly
Accept that there’s a pulling
So

A lap sang to a helpless head
A lap sang
Sang to a helpless head
You rest in me
The lap sang
Yet I am not free
Until you weigh me down
Again
A lap sang I am breathless
Still
And looked upon
The helpless head
And willed it make a breath
A breath in the lap
For the lap to sing
Weigh me down
O weigh me down again
