About Me

I was born and raised in california. I grew up at the beach and the softball fields. *lol*. I love to laugh, & try not to take myself to seriously. Simplicity is the way to go. I love to be make people smile and laugh.I have 6 cat's & 1 dog. cats matthew,(caregiver) gunnar, 8-ball, tigger, heidi & athena. & Rickie(grand-dog/the torpedo/panda butt) my baby! *lol* the best part of comeing home. opening the door & seeing my Rickie waiting there infront of me waiting me for me to say, "hi." my heart melts!I have Epilepsy, mine is hereditary. My type is tonic-clonic. Where I have petite and grandmal seizures. My parents were unaware that it ran in the family. When I was a month old or so, I developed a VERY high fever & needed to be rushed to the hospital. I guess that is a sign that a child is developing epilepsy. When I started school, it was difficult from day one! due to my petite seizures. I've had so MANY tests. It did show that I has some learning disabilities. That comes with epilepsy in which I'm told. however, that's all we knew. that I had learning disabilities but, there was still something wrong that NO ONE could figure out. Until one day on my 16th birthday party (the day after) it was a slumber party. I woke up and had a grandmal seizure, my first one. Then we found out that it ran in the family. My world turned upside down and around again. I was very angry. Then I learned about acceptance and of myself and that fear is "just" a feeling, that wants to keep me down that didn't want me to push through (that fear of having another seizure) and become stronger and live my life...being happy and free.I do take medication I was recently changed to topamax 2 years ago from depakote that I was taking since I was diagnosed.I've always been passionate about animals since I was really little! worked as Veterinary Technician after high school for 3 years. I wanted to be a lisenced V.T. I was in school. in 2000,I was recovering from an extremley bad nerve injury RSD. It started in my wrist & Eventually the pain moved up my arm, sperad up my neck into my head and face & a little into my right arm. (in video below)God was merciful & so kind. It's what eventually brought me to accepting Christ into my heart/my life. I've always been a lover of music but, love it even more now. I'm happier today & doing well. "Thank you!"
