I am 50 years old, and happy. I'm at that stage of life where I can make plans without having to consider the needs of anyone other than my significant other. Who will that person be? My kids are either in college, or have graduated from college. They have great lives ahead of them and so do I. I am in a transitional phase. I am self employed so I can live just about anywhere. I've chosen to return to my home town of Beaumont, TX. Since the kids are grown, I've decided to down-size my house. I plan to build the house I intend to retire in on about two acres, (plenty of gardening room).
