The life of a soul reaching for perfection taking one step at time, living day by day praying for that "big break" little did he know how it would come about. The blessing of God carried him through the tests and trials, but only by faith.May 25th, the birth of TeJay (Terry D. Jr.) at that moment music engulfed TeJay, surrounding him form every angle. Growing up being around his father (Terry Sr, a music genius), he began to grow a passion for music. TeJay's father would encourage him every day to stick to what he was not only good at but enjoyed. TeJay took that to heart and vowed to give what the world needs, and living in a family environment he also wanted to build a legacy for his children to walk in. At the age of 10, TeJay programed his first drum track to performing scale runs on the piano. This relationship he has with music can be best describe as "RnB Love" there is no separating him from the keys. By ear TeJay studied the piano in and out and developed his own unique style. At the age of 12 he decided to expand his horizon, and joined a 5 member boy band as a producer/artist. For 5 years the group (Voice of One) recorded and toured. At the age of 17 TeJay and one of the other band members (JHarv) split apart from the group and formed a production team, producing all types of music from christian to positive, to RnB. One year later a third member (Nate) was added to make them a triple threat, now with a variety of sound the team is completed. TeJay continued to improve creative vocal and production ability pressing for excellence every moment.
With the support of his true friends (JHarv and Nate) and his right hand man Chris White, TeJay never gave up or even lost focus but accelerated forward. Joining ventures with Headlinas is the best move TeJay could every pray for. With this new collaboration they will overtake the nation.
